Hey Dana...responding to your margin comment...since i pay 9.25% interest...IMO it is totally worth it on the right stocks... Second, if you are margining and if the stock drops and you can't feed your family, then you (as you noted) should not be using a margin account if you have to pull $$$ out of the market every month...way too much risk for requisites... Neverthless, when MRVC hit $30-35 6 months ago (60's-70's pre split), the company just had a $.09 Q (3/31/95) so @ $32.5 this was trading at an annualized run rate PE of 90 and in my mind i would have never touched it with that kind of PE...even if it later took off to $100...still...no way.... When we talk about margin accounts i really hope that individuals are not margining stocks with lofty PE's compared to growth rates...such as MRVC earlier...even MRVC @ $23 has an annualized PE of 48 which isn't necessarily cheap..they need at least .14 this Q to firm things up a bit on the stock price... Just my 2 cents...
