Advice For New Immigrants--Lets Invade Canada!,

( just one post of many)

All this stuff is getting pretty confusing so as a native
upstate New Yorker, I'll add some sanity to this discussion and promote a "let's take over Canada" campaign. I guess we've tried it a couple of times in the past but back then, we didn't have the overwhelming superiority in conventional and NBC weapons that we enjoy now. We could sell Quebec to the Latvians, Chinese or Russians or anyone else not French
and take over the Canadian Junior Hockey League and turn all
of Western Canada into a mighty hockey playing vassal state par excellence. Whaddya say? C'mon, where's that old American can-do spirit?

I'll meet everyone at the border at 8 o'clock! Be there (and bring your hockey sticks)

Regards, /jw

ps;, one more

Okay, I guess the invasion's off---betrayed by the allure of
beer and donuts...what's happend to the moral fabric of this country? How about a hockey tournament, US vs. Canada, and the winner gets to take over the other country? Provided, of course, that the US gets Gretzky (he's basically an American by now anyway, isn't he?) and Canada has to play Lindros for the entire game.

Pour le gloire de Quebec!
