Crimson > Did al-Qaeda's Gambit Work? Have They Baited Bush into Disastrous Missteps in the Middle East?

A long-winded article which has very little to do with Al Qaeda and, in fact, tells us very little we didn't know already about the US/Israeli aspirations -- or, more correctly, fantasies.

As far as I am concerned, Al Qaeda doesn't exist and, if it does, certainly not as an organization of any consequence. It was originally a construct of the CIA and was later "resurrected" as the fictional cause of 9/11. Indeed, if anyone actually believes that bin Laden, a very ill man at the time who was in fact dying of advanced kidney disease, could have organized 9/11 from a cave in Afghanistan, then they need their head examined.
