And here is another simple idea, do some "SIMPLE" means testing on all the upper echelon of all the big Humana, Etna, big banks, brokerage firms, Fannie, Freddie, Country Wide GM and etcetera and cap them at a million and if they do a real bang up job and can prove it.. 1.5 mill..if not they can "find a new job" because the vast majority are not special.
1. Exactly what would you hope to accomplish by limiting the remuneration of these individuals (there are, basically, two choices -- inept management leads to business failure, or it works out great and stockholders make more money -- which is it you're after?)
2. Do you also favor capping the remuneration of Hollywood actors, major leagues sports players, rock stars, and successful investors? |
