Trump is aligning himself with Russia. Here's where we are, Trump is aligning himself with Russia. Russia is in bed with Assad and Iran. But the establishment Republicans do not like Russia and have been wanting to take out their nuclear weapons in Iran for a long time, "bomb, bomb, Iran-McCain.. So how is that all going to work? At this point, we are more in bed with Saudi Arabia than Iran. But Iran and Saudi Arabia our bitter enemies. And it really comes down to Shia versus Sunni. If Trump goes with Russia, then we are taking the side of the Shia and we have to forget about worrying about Iran. Iran, Iraq and Assad in Syria are the primary Shia forces in the Middle East. Most of the Middle East and near East is Sunni. Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Pakistan. Trump also keeps talking down NATO. NATO is incredibly important to us. We have to remain strong with NATO. There could be a civil war within the Republican Party between those that want to go with Russia and the Shia and those that want to stick with the Sunni. The political dynamics at hand are very very complicated.
