Addi, Old Friend, are you still down on Kurlak because he downgraded MU at 18, on the day that it started a run to the upper 30's? What's wrong with a good contrarian indicator like that? :-) Meanwhile... Capital Equipment. This article (below) is great because it points out (in James Morgan's words) that "it all dependss on the OVERALL demand for chips" --not just what happens in one or two Asian countries... Which is why I bought AMAT (at 29).. Down further is a good explanation about the DEFERRAL (not LOSS) of instrument sales by VEECO Instruments -- (and partly why I bought VECO from 29 to 22...now 34)... For all the techs..
