BH: Perhaps, we shall receive clarification of Brinker's strategems vis a vis a declining market in programs to come. In programs past, Brinker has repeated the following viewpoint in response to direct queries: in bear markets, Brinker is out (presumably, before the fact). Brinker oft refers to the gut wrenching, torturous bear market of 1974-1975 wherein the major averages dropped as much as 50%. Brinker's avowed strategy: get out and keep the powder dry to fight another day. Brinker has stated on various occasions that he wants no truck with such markets and presumes that his scientific market timing model will give him, as well as his subscribers et alii, fair warning of the bear's advent and opportunity for a graceful exit. At least, this is the way I have heard tell of it, lo, these many years. The latest communnication from our friend I2 adds a new wrinkle to an otherwise seemingly smooth fabric. Suffice it to say, we hope that callers to future shows will mine this subject. We further hope that our Starship Commander will see fit to proffer guidance in this area- so vital to our continued collective financial health.
