Health care in the US and climate control ..... These problems can not be left to market forces. I'm not convinced about what used to be called global warming. If I were a believer, I'd agree with you that it would be a project which the government should lead. I am more of a believer in Peak Oil and future global energy problems -- but so far our government ain't very interested. Healthcare, I think, is different. Government should play a role in helping provide a basic safety net. Other than that, it should stay out.
