Charles - Good points, but the situation is more like Mercedes integrating the trailer hitch and electrical connections into the car, then offering a free trailer. The 'Ad' can be covered up or removed once you leave the lot. You can use anyone else's trailer but the one from Mercedes is free. Maybe you want to use someone else's free trailer, or buy a different model trailer, that's up to you.
