Yes, dividends are paid based on the number of common held. (ex.- ArchivalCD - 1 share for each 7 of CVIA common - date of record for common 1/26/99(?) extension for converting warrants to common 2/5/99) Divd. are some times paid for other things like preferred, but mostly common.
