I find myself more and more often making a conscious effort to stay ‘agnostic’ as far as longer term is concerned. Letting my theories influence my decisions has cost me enough money in the past. This year I discovered the intraday waves, and I love them. They help time the swings, help selling into strength. Wonderful. Picking up clues for fun and profit. What can be better? As far as the larger picture … as a trader, it is not of much concern to me. The little ‘fractals’ will keep building themselves into larger ones… things will keep falling into place, and continue to acquire shape, and we’ll see… On the other hand, as a (relatively) normal person, as a family man, a father, I hope and pray that the Mother of all Bulls would turn up right around the corner… Why live in a crappy world, I’d rather live in a happy one. But the truth is, I’m not excessively optimistic.
