This week's New Yorker has a fascinating essay on Hindu nationalism in India. Very disturbing. Unfortunately, it's not online. So, if you don't subscribe and don't wish to pay for a copy, you'll need to do Bill's Borders trick. Pick a copy off the newstand and grab a chair.

Unfortunately, the nearest newsstand likely to have a copy is about 12 hours drive away. I may see it in a few months. Anything new... apart from all the old disturbing stuff, I mean?
