I have an HP Pavillion laptop with Windows 10 and I'm having an intermittent problem with displaying my desktop icons. I arrange them the way that I want to arrange them and then every so often when I boot it up, the desktop icons are all bunched together in no particular order on the left side of the screen.

Is there a simple trick to "lock" those icons in position so they don't shift? It doesn't do it everytime I reboot. It just seems to have a mind of its own and does it periodically. Suggestions?

TIA

Pat
