Interesting thoughts from Bullwinkle's board on HUB... siliconinvestor.com Posted by: nlightn Date: Sunday, May 25, 2008 10:57:13 PM In reply to: fuagf who wrote msg# 29895 Post # of 29897 i know this is not a popular POV,...but i don't believe in the Peak Oil theory. but i do believe in a manufactured Peak Oil theory. what i do believe in is the manipulation of the supply thus found. i state this because, for example,... there have been numerous news articles over the past year of this country and other countries discovery of large oil basins in the oceans. so there is oil all over this planet. and this planet keeps making the resource. it is all about controlling the flow of the oil. control the flow and control and manipulate and create an artificial market. additionally if more refinerys had ben mandated to be built by this government as the population expanded, and thus the cars on the road increase also, then there would not be this crisis we are facing. so i do believe that the powers that be created a Peak Oil theory based on what oil they have and how they were going to let it flow to the consuming public. what we do need is a group of innovators to pool their financial resources to come together and create an alternative that all citizens on this planet can utilize at a fair price.
