As far a poisonous spider go, these are the most people friendly. They also eat other bad spiders, like Black Widows and Brown Recluses. One thing I've learned down here is to work with nature and let nature work for me. My neighbor bought his house a few years back and was told of this big King Snake that lived in his yard at the edge of the woods. He knew enough to leave it alone, as it is the best of the good snakes. One day he was back there picking up branches and he grabbed it by mistake and it bit him. He killed it. Now he has rattlesnakes!
