I don't agree with that. Or with the idea that they will be less severe with freer markets. it's something i don't think can be proven. but i believe the corrections in a free market would be constant. if the market is in a constant state of correction, the ups and downs should have a much smaller amplitude than with the distortion of government intervention. but it's likely we'll never find out in our lifetimes..
