New Tool for Replicating, Distributing and Synchronizing Server Files Enters Open Beta
What:
Novell(R) today announced open beta availability of Novell Replication Services(TM), a dedicated tool for replicating, distributing and synchronizing information across a network of geographically dispersed servers. Novell Replication Services allows network administrators to improve consistency and availability of information across wide area networks (WANs) and intranet Web servers.
Novell Replication Services allows network administrators to selectively replicate groups of files from one server to any number of other servers such as IntranetWare(TM) and Novell Web Server(TM), in the same Novell Directory Services(TM) (NDS(TM)) tree. This tool provides organizations with the ability to distribute files, including Windows documents, HTML files, software updates and utilities, graphic images and audio and video clips. With Novell Replication Services, businesses can meet their mission-critical needs to implement cost-effective corporate intranets and provide users with immediate access to the most up-to-date network information, software applications and Web content.
