Re: smoking bans in public places. As a working hypothesis, I assume that smoking kills far more people than marijuana would should it ever be legalized. When are our Washington politicians going to find the spine to classify nicotine as an addictive drug and make cigarette sales illegal? Answer: about the same time that incumbents feel they would be re-elected even without the contributions from the tobacco lobby.
