ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., Feb 2, 2000 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- TeleServices Internet Group Inc. (OTCBB: TSIG), known as TSIG.com, today announced that results from its Coca-Cola Super Bowl MusicCard promotion, which runs through the end of February 2000, have been outstanding.
Hundreds of thousands of Coca-Cola Super Bowl MusicCards were distributed throughout the Atlanta area over the past several weeks, with thousands more during the Super Bowl on Sunday night. This excitement was highlighted by local television coverage on their nightly news broadcast. Commented Joseph K. Keegan, President & Chief Operating Officer of TSIG.com, "We are delighted with the tremendous response to the Coca-Cola Super Bowl MusicCard promotion. Traffic to our Internet website has increased over 200% since the promotion began and we are looking forward to other successful programs with our friends at Coca-Cola."
Other news from TSIG.com is our national sponsorship participation in the `Street & Smith's All-Millennium Pro Football Team' promotion. TSIG.com and other sponsors joined with some of the NFL's greatest players of the Millennium at a press conference, held in Atlanta during Super Bowl week, to make the national announcement. On hand to emcee the press conference was Greg Buttle, former All-Pro linebacker of the NY Jets and now President of Unique Sports & Legend Marketing. "We are all excited to have the fans voting on the best pro players of the Millennium, `Decade by Decade,' via the Internet. Because of the Internet application for all the voters, we anticipate well over 1,000,000 voter registrations and each voter will receive the ALL-MILLENNIUM PRO FOOTBALL TEAM MusicCard," said Greg. "We are especially pleased to have some of football's greatest players participate. Among those Millennium players representing the 60's, 70's, 80's, and 90's were Paul Hornung, Ted Hendricks, Jack Youngblood, Ed `Too Tall' Jones, Tony Dorsett, Roger Craig, and Freeman Mc Neil. These guys are what it's all about and they created `All-Star Momentum' for this spectacular event," an enthusiastic Mr. Buttle commented.
"In addition," stated TSIG.com's Quarterback & Chief Executive Officer Robert Gordon, "TSIG.com announced its new partnership with UCPA and WeMedia.com. We are also equally proud of the `All- Star' Corporate Sponsors associated with the All-Millennium Pro Football Team promotion. Together with UCPA, Unique Sports, One-On-One Sports Radio, Foot Locker, and our friends at the Tropicana Hotel in Atlantic City, we will continue to `Tackle & Block' to ensure this is a successful program.
"This All-Star event will drive customers to our website, and our unique Internet model will be enhanced through distribution from our Corporate Sponsor partnerships. Foot Locker, with 2,700 worldwide locations, will be promoting the All-Millennium Pro Football Team MusicCard throughout retail locations nationwide," stated Mr. Gordon.
