To All: Today, Dow Jones News Service has a report on software cos. Symantec was mentioned. Some analysts is optimistic that Symantec will see strong sales growth in the second half of the year. The first quarter ended June 30 should report a rise in net income to $9.3 mil. or 17 cents a share, up 37% from $6.8 mil. or 12 cents a share, in the year-earlier period.
