I have observed my name mentioned in association with this company, and would like to set the record strait. In early 1996 I helped Kalvik look for a purchaser or optioner for the Den-OD Claims owned by Kalvic, and introduced Corum to this opportunity. I had no prior knowledge or experience with the Corum people. Corum had been highly recommended to me by a colleague, and they appeared to be serious about NWT acquisitions. I made the necessary introductions and negotiated a finders fee from CMZ for my efforts, which included compiling the claim info, the geology and potential, and making an objective recommendation to Corum for acquisition, and participating as an independant advisor to both parties in the initial negotiations for the deal.

After CMZ announced successful completion of the acquisition, and when it became clear that Corum had no intention of settling the finders fee with me, I withdrew my future services from this company, and I am still owed 20,000 shares or cash equivalent for the agreed Finders Fee. This has been owed for over a year.

Although Geo from Denver implies I am still associated with Corum, that is untrue, except by virtue of the unresolved dispute. I have tremendous respect for Geo from Denver as a professional geologist and manager, and his assumption of my involvement was surely based on what others in the company had falsely led him to believe.

I have also learned that at least until late in 1996, Corum continued to represent that I will be doing specific works for them and causing some mining industry people and others in Yellowknife to believe that I am their "on call" consultant, but this is not (and has never been) the case.

I regret the breakdown in the Kalvik-corum relationship. I have had an open and long standing relationship with all three principles of Kalvik for many years, and have been involved with other successsful and mutually beneficial projects which Kalvic vended to other companies. To my knowledge, Such other projects have never been subject to conflict of any sort.
