Acquisition of Claims in Sept-Iles Region MONTREAL, Dec. 11 /CNW/ - Cancor Mines is pleased to report the acquisition of 24 claims strategically located in the Sept-Iles region, more precisely in the Lac Volant area, where the Quebec Government recently made a significant nickel-copper-cobalt discovery similar to the first Voisey Bay discovery. The Nipisso property located 14 km north of this major showing lies in the same geological environment as Lac Volant. Moreover, a showing found on the north-east part of the property contains 1.2% Copper. Geophysical work will be done to identify further targets.
