Media bias towards increased spending is pretty obvious this morning. Morning shows talking about Bush SLASHING SPENDING ( ie. modest spending INCREASES ) and an ARP spokesman was allowed to get away with saying that all SS needs are "modest adjustments" (i.e. MASSIVE TAX INCREASES ).

BTW, interesting how the spenders always use the use the word modest when advocating tax increases. The word must score high with the audience researchers. Even though in actual practice, there is NO modesty in the country today.
