re "account control" owners:

If any company should have been able to do this, EMC should have. Yet we've seen their gross margins collapse, as they desperately compete on price, to try and hold on to market share. In this downturn, EMC hasn't acted like they have any more "account control" than Micron (a seller of a pure commodity) has. Maybe, as a "software and services" company, they'll have account control.
