There is nothing even remotely phony about Gore or Edwards. Burmar just picks up the latest hit-list talk from rightwing websites and parrots it. The rightwing only tries to smear who they fear. That is why they spent 200 million smearing Kerry's military record, because that's what they feared the most.

There is talk about Gore running. If he runs, he wins. If not then I believe Edwards has the best chance, with Obama as his running mate. I still believe the eventual nominee will be a white male, though Obama and Hillary may come close and the country is definitely ready for a black or woman VP.

If you want phoniness, just listen to the GOP candidates crowe about how great Bush has done in Iraq, and hoiw they are so much against womens reproductive rights.
