Had a friends son to be suspended for 2 days after he started in school in one of the Northern Virginia counties-----a new county for them and a new school for the son.

This was at the height of the shootings at Va. Tech.

He was a new student at a local middle school. Paint Ball was popular at that time as a sport. He was learning paint ball------and later became a Paint Ball referee for adults who enjoyed the aport.

Getting on or off of the school bus, he ask a paint ball friend if he had a 'gun'-----referring to paint ball gun for after school and their going for classes in how to do paint ball.

His use of the word 'gun' prompted an immediate suspension as the driver reported it to the school.

The principle called his mother, she took a day off from work go to the principles office------as though her and son were some sort of criminals.

This was his and his mother's introduction to the new county he was living in and the new school, new for him, that he was attending.

Thank God, he survived all of that and is now in a top university studying engineering.

If the school had followed the path of the incident reported by WND----his future could have been in doubt for the rest of his life.
