I'm not sure if Intel's expected spending on equipment is a good reason to buy UTEK. I haven't seen a mention of Intel in the 10k or elsewhere, though this doesn't necessarily mean that Intel isn't buying some non-critical steppers from UTEK. UTEK stresses cost of ownership in its steppers, which may or may not be an important issue with Intel. Does anyone know if Intel is a customer? For critical layers Intel uses SVGL's steppers.
As I understand it, the reasons to consider UTEK are low cost steppers, Thin film head for disk drives, micromachining, and P-GILD for 2+ years into the future. I don't have any more than a superficial understanding of these benefits, but others have mentioned them many times on this thread, and they could probably explain them very well.
