I'm going to make a wild stab in the dark here....take that~ GHM's 2-Way DirecPC Systems just announced might be casting a pall on SFA. Braodband over satellite baby! If you are like me and can't get broadband because the existing telecom companies overspent and only got 25% of the market. DSL is out of reach for at least two more years... I'm in Silicon Valley for heaven sake....not Northern Alberta. @Home is gonna available be within 5 years . That's alot of time. I'm betting that More people will sign up -- I know I will. Anyone want to venture a guess what companies would benefit first from this "potential growth area". I'm a software engineer (and an old one at that)....I dont' know hardware. High speed semi conductor makers perhaps...but which ones. GMH will never become like AT&T and WCOM ....who are saddled with too much debt from the DSL & @home build-out (T's market value now equals it's long term debt = $60 billion dollars). GMH's EBIDTA growth rate should rise in the future. Might be an interesting earnings momentum play.
