It's ok to teach creation in religious schools.


I watched To The Contrary yesterday morning. They had a segment on abstinence-only sex ed. There was a clip of a teacher lecturing that there were three reasons not to be sexually active. One was the physical danger, the second was risk to self esteem, and the third was spiritual risk. He described the first two in some detail. For the third he simply said that the risk was serious, but that he couldn't talk about it in a public school so kids should check the appropriate source. I thought he handled it pretty deftly, considering, but it's still awkward to teach that way.
