5dave22...When AMD gets to your target don't rush out and sell. This stock could go substantially higher. When AMD moved from 40 to 60 in just a few days that was a pretty good move. When I say spectacular, I think it is going to be a bigger point move than that in a short period of time.

Facts to consider:

Athlons with on die cache are going to kick ath. They will relegate PIII's to second class.

Intel can't produce any Piii's in any meaningful quantities, contrary to what Elmer and Paul keep claiming. The end to the shortage is nowhere in site.

Williamette: will use DRDRAM only. Intel reminds me of that commercial where those really old guys sit around the cobwebbed boardroom (PSINet's commercial I think), and say they give the customer what the company wants. Hope you've seen it. Judging by what happened to Rambus today, the message may be starting to get across. Rambus just isn't going to cut it.....good luck Willy.

The Athlon seems to be scaling swiftly. Who is to say that by the time Willy comes out that the Athlon won't be at those clock speeds. The door is wide open for AMD (thanks Intel).

Dave, if AMD reaches $66 to $79 (I think that could happen rather soon)just don't be too hasty, unless you're a trader.
You may live to regret it.

Regards
Ed P.
