Guys any power saving you might get by some patent pending method of ordering how things get written to the hard drive are negligible. The microdive itself was/is inefficient, you can't polish a turd. That being said, rechargable batteries have probably gained enough in efficiency and price drop in the past year to make it a moot point. Power saver ability is simply another unsubstantiated claim of the company until they show otherwise. Do you have any number for power savings of a micro os run drive over a competing companies file system? CMB
