3COM buyout is probable. I am suprised they have made it this far selling such commodity items as hubs and NICs. The crown jewels at 3com is the palm pilot. very consumer oriented, higher margin, and loyal following. this was perhas the best buy that they ever did.

otherwise, i would not be suprised if they sell off so many subdivisions that you would not recognize 3com at the end.
