Are Trump and the R's going to restore the cuts to medicare?

Medicare is not "automatic". If you don't apply prior to turning 65 you are penalized with higher premiums.

My premium for Medicare just tripled on 1/1/17 to nearly $400/mo plus the Advantage so now I'm shelling out nearly $600 month PLUS co-pays.

That after paying the full medicare tax for over 40 years of being self employed.
