I've heard other horrible stories about Compaq's proprietary ways all too often. As far as Sandisk and the name "CompactFlash" goes, I hope that the courts seriously don't give them the right to stop others from using variations of the word "Compact." This is just plain silly. Silly enough however, that I wouldn't be suprised if Compaq wins.
