Components of the Openwave Services OS, the market leader for the mobile Internet, have been licensed by mobile operators who service more than 50 percent of the world's mobile subscribers, including four of the top five mobile operators in the United States. Openwave is committed to making the mobile Internet work for both carriers and their subscribers, regardless of the size, by determining the right solution mix to help them meet their needs.
Leap pioneered Cricket Comfortable Wireless service, which is an affordable alternative to traditional landline phone service that allows customers to make all their local calls from within their local calling areas and to receive incoming calls from anywhere for the same low, flat rate every month. "Leap is committed to providing simple, affordable and useful wireless services that appeal to a broad cross section of the population," said Doug Hutcheson, senior vice president of wireless data development at Leap.
