NN perfect example of 'earnings play' The anticipation: Newbridge Networks yesterday: 6/02/98 28.000 30.000 27.750 30.000 1,788,70 The reality: trading at 26 7/8 down 3 3/16... NN is only one example of companies that move on the rumour. That's what makes these plays so compelling. TOM on the other hand, I expect a better earnings report so I'll probably hold at least until Friday.
