i believe they co-exist. these are human weaknesses. they blind people into making false judgements.

JP Morgan said "bullish on USA."

and he's still right. even after 6 decades. do you have any idea how much US bonds are in the hands of foreign governments? if USA go bankrupt, these dudes are gonna be holding the bag. the whole world relies on the USA. needless to say, do you have any idea how many foreign countries rely on US grants? will USA go bankrupt? only if the moon land on plymouth rock. get real.

however, if you think bears don't exist in today's market, check the short interest.
