Also, what would be a scan that would produce the S&P 500 stocks, list their dividend amount in $$$ and their record date or ex-dividend date?

You don't need to and Quotes Plus doesn't have the capability for writing a scan to create a list of stocks in the S&P 500. Quotes Plus comes with a list of stocks in the S&P 500. It is in the Qp2data\Members directory and it is called sp500.lst. Use sp500.lst as an input list for a scan to print a list of dividends for S&P 500 stocks. You can not print a list of record and ex-dividend dates as there are no scan functions for retrieving record and ex-dividend data.

Could there be a scan based on put/call ratios.

No. The Quotes Plus database doesn't contain any put/call data.
