Dunno whether we should make anything of this or not. I remember XICO once moved its earnings report UP several days, and everybody thought "Great!", but it turned out to be poopy.

Normally you'd think that if they were expecting to beat the street they'd do better to announce after the close Thursday. But Friday's options expiry, and that can affect a stock's performance whatever their news--not, however, that there's a huge amount of open interest in PLAT's April options. Another possibility is that they want the earnings report to coincide with the (hoped-for) Big Announcement, and that the announcement's date hasn't yet been set for reasons beyond PLAT's control.

So who the hell knows? Can't get through to Aunt Mary on her cell phone; always busy.
