We are being pulled into a tribal society by perverse media influences. Neo-cons beat the drums and the masses chant about the evils and threats of the enemy tribe, the Muslims. And we are so morally superior to them that we should kill them all. Sounds like Rwanda. Forget the rule of law, rights of innocent civilians, all that matters is the allied tribe the Israelis. If one of them is threatened or opposed in the slightest way we will put the heads of their enemies on a stake.
Sadly, also, so many arguments on this board are strawman arguments.
