I wondered if mental illness in Terri Schiavo's parents might be a factor in this whole drama. They have at least two attractive and vital living children, and yet they have gotten the whole family mixed up in this drama seemingly, instead of grieving, healing, and moving on to live their own lives fully again. In their religion heaven plays a big part, and if Terri died she would be there with God, waiting for them when they came. Even though I don't believe in this, comforting as it is, it seems to me that it would give them comfort and they could let her go, knowing they would all be together again soon.

And I wonder who is driving this--how much of their campaign is really being driven by the right-to-life political groups. I wonder how, if they decided it was time to let go, they could even do that because it has turned into such a CAMPAIGN, not just a human tragedy.
