Bravo for the this judge! Yes. I was afraid when I first read it that he was kidding himself, but then I thought, "no, he knows his people." The moral approval of the group is important to them. This is going to help as we reduce our amount of "face" in Iraq. The failure to recognize that we are in a war of ideas has always hurt us, going back to the start of the cold war. Calling our opponents "evil" does not get at their motivation. It doesn't with our left today. What we are fighting are people who think they are doing good. We perceive their actions as evil. They don't see it that way.
