I agree with you. In July, I thought the stock was rising too fast and would either drop significantly before going higher or just trade sideways for several months. Hence I sold half my shares at $39.75 mid July, primarily because after the nice rise I was too weighted in AMAT. Unfortunately I was too early (getting greedy, huh?), since it went on to $50+. Friday, I doubled up again at $31.5, buying back at 20% below my exit. Not the best deal in the world, but I'm pleased to add to my position in this fine company.

Didn't the Hang Seng have a rally of 7% a few trading days ago, then fell anew? I hope we're not in for the same. I thought our markets rose too much today. Yes it's in the right direction, but it's a sign that the instability is still with us. I'd like to see things settle down.
