Hello everyone,
Sorry to interrupt, I'll only be a minute. My contributions to
this thread are directed toward getting people to think. Foremost, I would.like for all people to think about the love of God. His
love is difficult to understand for those who have not experienced Him. It is not a human
love, it is a higher love, a greater love. Let me try to illustrate with a story.
There was a man whose youngest son lead a rebellious lifestyle, indulged heavily in
alcohol, then stonger drugs, and became addicted. Finally, he couldn't keep a job and
became dependent on stealing to support his drug habit. He was declared an habitual
criminal because of being a three time loser in the criminal justice system and was
committed to prison for 15 years at the age of 28. His father went to him in prison and
said, "Son, your lifestyle is beyond my understanding, I cannot sanction your actions in
any way, but I want you to know this, this has nothing to do with my love for you. I still
love you."
You see, God's love is similar to that, yet much, much greater. This is the love I
personally have experienced from Him. You can too! Why not give Him a try?
Mat 11:28-30 "Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.
Take My yoke upon you, and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and
YOU SHALL FIND REST FOR YOUR SOULS. For My yoke is easy, and My load is
light."
Jesus said, " John 15:13 "Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for
his friends."
God loves you, He died for you.
