The SnapTrack deal was announced in January 2000 and closed on March 2, 2000. Message 13028229 The deal was done for $1B in Qualcomm stock. Does anyone know what the precise price was that was used in the acquisition. The price when the deal was announced? When in closed? Within some collar of the price when the deal was announced? Whatever the precise number, cool that QCOM used its early 2000 share price to do the acquisition. It is like buying something for almost 2/3 off.
