"de bottom"??

Ok, a few of the CEO's seem to think the future looks brighter, but a few said things still looked bad....MSFT, etc. Plus the fact, who can you believe?

Of course some of these companies are "meeting" estimates, but those are lowered estimates. What was CSCO's?? I think it was about 60% below last years. Not exactly booming! That may be the worse of it, and a bottom is in, but......??

I admit I do not know. I am confused about all of the info we are getting from CEOs and the FEDs.

Oh yes, the FEDs, the economic data is almost a joke. It gets "revised" months down the road so you never really know if it is correct the first time around.

But......I hope you are right. Stock prices are low enough for me to start buying, but I have said that before! I haven't been buying for two years, just sitting and watching, waiting for the trend to change. It MAY have changed, but I personally need more UP to say the trend HAS changed.

Also.....GE? Is that going to be the next focus for accounting problems. If GE fails the test....well, that could be the straw that takes us to the old lows once again.

Let me say again, I hope you are right. Lets get this bull going, life is short eh?

John
