Question for the tech guys here. My 1.5 year old HP laptop, running Windows 10, has started acting up in the last 2 months. I'm looking at my browser one second and the next second the screen goes black and the laptop powers down. After a second or two it boots back up again. I have a tech friend who told me he thought it may be overheating. Told me to gently blow in to the fan vent and maybe get a cooling pad. I did both but the problem persisted. I then took out my battery and ran it like a desktop thinking my battery was going bad. That also didn't solve my problem. Maybe I need a new fan??? Would very much appreciate any help from this form.
