I appreciate you comments. This is my take on what you said:

1) In order for the trading system to work, we need people who will sell a rising stock. This will provide liquidity.

2) Shorters are a part of the market. Learn to live with them.

I agree with you, but I would like to take a break from reality and propose that this is similiar to a society that needs people to take on jobs that not very many would take.
Yes, somebody ought to short, but I'll leave that for the hungry souls. Let them make a buck. I'll make my money WITH the crowd.

Anyway, I think that EDIG will be back in the 20's not long before many amateur shorts can cover.
