This was in response to a complaint from someone from the ITRU thread about an aggressive (and obnoxious) pro-WAVX post from someone named "Doma" who had posted at their thread. Anyway, it's quite good--here it is:

Many of us are frayed a touch at the edges from being essentially unacknowledged until recently. Please give us a second to get adjusted... We feel we are almost an unrecognized religious experience, due to our potential ubiquity. Some here feel we have had to suffer a sort of humiliation or crown of thorns, through delisting, and having to prove our [in our opinions] far-seeing selves to the financial community, with their penchant for short term profit making & "if I can't see it I won't believe it" mentality. But of course every company has to go through this... and most of us have done it with resigned grace... Wave attracted many of us for its simplicity & concept. There were a lot of details to be worked out, but for some reason, a load of us Wavoids "saw" what was going down for what it [we believe and I guess ITRU does now too] is. A really intelligent way of doing things that kills so many birds with one stone. A pure... shoot the moon, concept.
We felt briefly vindicated when the valuation & attention started to increase early last year when we relisted NASDAQ... But then we were beset by a plaque of locusts [I mean shorts] who crushed our valuation back down & really put many of us longs to the test. Those that had margined eventually got calls.... Many had to liquidate our piggy banks, sell posessions or shares in other tech hotties like TERN, ELON, EDIG to cover our positions [because a Wavoid CANNOT sell a share...] & well... it hurt further when those other stocks popped, but narry a Wavoid would have let go of a share... I have friends that maxed their cards out & really had to scrimp for their indiscretions of getting ahead of themselves here.... Thank goodness not everyone was on margin. Many of us had recommended this stock to their friends, who for like 7-8 months really made us feel bad as their money, often put in at the 15 to 25 levels decreased by 50 to 70 percent. At least one of my pals who really bought in big, complained almost every day, that this might have ruined his future, his retirement, etc... I suffered, knowing in my heart I had done my homework & nothing was going wrong! Just opportunistic shorts, knowing deployment 7 revenue were a ways off & the technology was a bit hard to understand for the general public & even analysts! I mean it is more complicated than say e-stamps or something... Many of us really have spent a lot more DD time than virtually any other group of mainly amateur investors... I had to explain constantly to my friends what was going on & how we were just vulnerable due to beiing in too early, etc, etc.... It was hellish. We are currently just starting to be recognized outside of our little community...
Some of the techs here have been saying that your DigiBox was better than Alladin's Hasp.... this has been bothering some of us.... because we can HOST any of you software applications... [You don't mind us calling you an application, do you?] Any of you. Any. All. Actually only those of you that improve our ability to function. ITRU improves one of our aspects. We are thrilled!!! to have you guys "on the chip"..... [I'll repeat myself.... ON THE CHIP]... as in your app gets put in our very "real" enviornment. See, we are the chip. We are the earth, your applet groweth from. Please.... you will get used to our attitude as you see that we are the way. The body, The ARK.
You guys are like the pair of Giraffe's that are thanking Noah for comming to your party. Meta Trust Utility Open Trust Initiative....sounds very... pervasive. To us its like "your belief system", your claim to a higher imperative... We respect the altruistic views of you & yours, but hey guys..... doma was probably refering to the fact that WE built the ark, while you big publicity seeking & high minded creatures were just nibbling on the tall branches. Your press releases initially caught my attention because they were promising things that I felt only we could deliver. To some that is writing checks that you can't cash.... BUT, maybe your company knew they had us to work with, so who knows... But to some of us.... Your company & most of the so called software solutions, are aloft on a sea of hope & hype.... Have you read the news lately.... Hack, Hack.... softwares can't do it alone. Someone like the CEO of Nat. Semiconductor Peter Sprague had to figure this one out... And it took a long time... So some of us are just indignant! Forgive us. But we do know what we do!!
There is a statement in your company's press release today, that actually welcomes us to the Meta Trust Utility family of companies!!! That is the Giraffe's welcoming Noah to the Giraffe club. Hey.... If you guys see it that way & it works for you..... excellent. It really doesn't matter HOW ITRU views its relationship with Wave systems corp..... reality is we are Yin to your Yang. You could have gone elsewhere if you wanted.. but there ain't no place to go!
World of water.... one ARK. Welcome aboard, representitives of your species... Start reading up on this board & wave.com & meet your new family. After you get to see all the other sentient beings on the ark... you will see you are in good company with most of the real gorillas sitting behind the 2-way mirror!!
OK, thats just "some" of the Wavoids. NOW... if you can get past the ritual hazing.... the welcome aboard noogie so to speak from Doma...
Others feel like myself: You guys have an enviably good software vehicle. I've heard the best of its class. Having you with us, makes us that much more complete & ready to function & able to start kicking ass & taking numbers.....
Your PR dept has a lot of balls. As antagonists/outsiders you guys left a slight sense of doubt about an important part of the encrypted transmission process here.... I for one was a bit unnerved by your boasting about what you can do... I asked techs, "can they do that?" and was told essentially... not without us or someone else like us. Its more like thats what they "WANT" to do...
So knowing that you folks will be doing lots of "in your face" publicity & generally working the crowd....well, I for one am damn glad you guys will be helping to fill our sails now! Yay! And god bless your DigiBox... I hope it stays an industry standard for a good long time. Its like on the Sopranos.... we're family now.... have some more baked Zitti...
