His last comment referring to Lynch is interesting, but there's no application to the markets now -- indeed he is implicitly arguing in favor of buying beaten down stocks (instead of say, gold) through the whole thing ... I guess we all have our little inconsistencies, don't we?

I just e-mailed the old fart -- will be interesting to see if he answers -- if he does I'll post.
